It's hard, because 'hegemon' is often misunderstood in Polish. It means 'dictator' or 'leader', but we use this word as 'potentate' which I used in this translation. I think it fits decently, but you can use 'leader' and it's still good.

Of course compared to is the right word, I will never learn this one...

Może mi ktoś wytłumaczyć kiedy/czemu w angielskim dodajemy do czasowników przyrostki "up", "off" itp. Np. I have to dress up, a nie samo dress.

There is no rule. The more you learn English by speaking/typing, the more two-part verbs you will know. Fortunately, this is not as difficult as it seems. For example, when you leave something or break, then usually you have to add 'off'/'down' or something like that. Do you undestand? When it is something 'positive' then you add phrases like 'on'/'up'. I don't know how to explain that.

Yes, ja understand, ale I myślałem, that, jest some reguła. Where ja have wiedzieć, it's dobrze used? Wyuczyć and zapamiętać?

I'm not that sure but yes, you probably have to learn and remember them all. But like I said - I'm not 100% sure. Ask Magnum, he will definitely know that.

By the way, is your English really not that strong? XD I mean, don't you know how to ask and explain your problem in English? XD
