Why strange? I don't think that this topic is strange because every of us can write everything in English. English language is the most popular on all the world. It's hard of course but very useful.
Irishman, Greeks, Poles and whole the rest can speak English.
And I please... stick this subject, it will be more comfortable.

To my way of thinking 'Sunny Miami wait for me' (słonaczne Miami- zaczekaj na mnie) is correct You can also say: "Sunny Miami is waiting for me" (słoneczne Miami czeka na mnie)

I've studied English since... hoho... I don't remember ... I would like to show you some very funny (or not) vacabularies and phrasal verbs... you will never find them in your dictionary!!!! And your teacher is too weak to know them or at least some of them... :

You are needed like a prick at wedding party... - 'jesteś tu potrzebny jak k...s na weselu...' zakładam, że każdy wie co oznacza słowo PRICK nam to się może wydawać wulgarne ale w Anglii jest to powszechnie stosowany zwrot i nie jest uważany za wulgarny... raczej zartobliwy

drinking spree/ house- warming party - 'parapetówa'... taka kilkudniowa...

a bimbo - 'głupia blondynka'

a curved woman - kobieta atrakcyjna, z dużym biustem

knockers - 'duże piersi'

catch- them- alive - 'lep na muchy'

constipation - 'zatwardzenie'

Devil lurks behind a cross. - przysłowie: "Diabeł czycha za krzyżem"

u nas jak ktoś mówi do Ciebie/ pyta "co??" czasem odpowiadasz "g...o!!" W angielskim to bedzie tak:"What??- Chicken part!!"
chicken - może być również jako 'tchórz' (gdy się z kogoś naśmiewasz...)

I was joking You can even see " " I don't take for granted that they are all unknown for you or your teacher but if someone wants to be a little bit sophisticated it is good to know how to use them in conversation... for example on our final exam
it may be useful for someone who wants to impress his examiner...
If they are all known for you it's great!!

Yes! We both made a mistake. There should be 'have studied' . It's Present Perfekt (have/has + III forma czas.) It's embarrassing...

I would say "Talk to him" but "Talk with him" is also correct I suppose... and You can't say for in this case... as I suppose of course

it's good idea but how can We find Englishman and 'enrole' him here??
