Sebastian made great strides in 2004/05. The classy midfielder was handed his debut for the Carling Cup win at Manchester City and performed well despite playing out of position at left-back.

The Swedish youth international was back in a more familiar role for the remainder of Arsenal's run in the competition. He stepped in impressively when Edu limped off against Everton and started at Manchester United.

Sebastian was also called up to the first-team squad for the Champions League and scored four times in 17 games for the Reserves.
