Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard hope he has clinched the signing of Poland goalkeeper Artur Boruc in next days.

The 27-year-old can signed what the club describes as a "long-term" contract.

Boruc has made a few appearances for his country and was voted the Scottish league's best goalkeeper for the two seasons after some fine performances for former club Celtic Glasgow.
