Arsenal will be without the strike partnership of Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor for the Premier League game against Liverpool on Tuesday evening.

Both players were substituted during the second half of the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday and now look set to be rested for the trip to Anfield.

Dutch international Van Persie sustained a groin problem while Togo forward Adebayor suffered a hamstring injury.

Croatia international striker Eduardo could start up-front for the north London outfit as he has been named in the squad. French full-back Bacary Sagna is also included.

Polish international Lukasz Fabianski will continue in goal as Manuel Almunia is not expected to be fit to return until Sunday ,when Arsenal play Middlesbrough. Defenders Gael Clichy, William Gallas and Johan Djourou are all still sidelined.
