(althought the real reason they were pissed is that they could not convert on the opportunities given to them, especially if Juventus was in the title mix, which is what the third excerpt details). The fourth paragraph absolves Giacinto Facchetti of any wrongdoing whatsoever as it becomes clear that an honest man was being played by a system formed against him. It is abundantly apparent that Bergamo and Fazi believe he is beneath their intellectual level, despite Bergamo's initial failure understanding any of the Machiavellian concepts Fazi details. It effectively hampers Moggi's defense. Not only does it prove Facchetti innocent but it further implicates Moggi beyond what he has already been tried for. Fans of La Vecchia Signora, instead of assaulting their rival Inter, should be more worried that these new implications do not cause the club further punishment.
