Ba and Cisse have not trained since Senegal’s last game against Zambia, while former Freiburg man Cisse is yet to meet his team-mates.
Pardew told the Chronicle today: “The situation with Papiss and Demba is that I am hoping, a small hope, they can make the bench.
“The flights are such that you couldn’t ask them to feature from the start.
“But there is a good chance they could be involved on the bench. We are trying to organise extra flights to get them here.”
